Divorce

I take my hat to Katie Holmes.

We all should learn a lesson from her.
She kept a level head, had everything well planned and everything went her way.

The reason most of us had difficulties while going through a divorce it’ because we let our emotions dictate our actions.
We don’t stop to thick and deal with the matter as a business transaction. We get emotional, we cry, we want the other person to pay, we want justice, but we go about it the wrong way.
All of us that went through a divorce did it, me included.
Whether you are a man or a woman doesn’t matter, we get emotional and that’s how we blow it.

If you are thinking about getting a divorce: STOP, look at Katie Holmes and then GO.
Get a lawyer; get your affairs in order without arising suspicion.
Get everything ready before you said a word.

Ah… if we only could….

Snow White, both of them

I watched both of the Snow White movies.

It’s awful to think that Hollywood spends that king of movie on making these movies. Really!
In Mirror Mirror the Untold Story of Snow White are we supposed to believe that Julia Roberts it’s the fairs of them all? And that she is prettier than Lilly Collins? She is getting too old for these roles. Besides I never thought that she was pretty.
On the other hand are we supposed to believe in Snow White and the Huntsman that Kristen Steward is prettier than Charlize Theron?
Kristen Steward is not pretty; she has not charisma, no sweetness, no nothing. And are we supposed to believe that she is young? That she just came of age?
She is like what? 30 or 32? And she looks her age. Maybe if she smiled once in a while she might look better, who knows…
Nevertheless, the movie was awful. Charlize Theron acting was over the top, just screaming instead of acting.
The only good thing about the movie was Chris Hemsworth, his acting was good, he was believable on the role, but he could not save the movie.
At least Mirror Mirror was entertaining and Lilly Collins is cute and young.
No starts for either movie.
Nevertheless this is just my opinion.

Brave

Brave ****

I just read the article that Chris Heller wrote about the movie Brave.
I have seen the trailer for the movie and it look like a very nice movie that I will wait to watch when it comes on DVD, however, after reading the article I saw the movie.
In my opinion this movie is about a very normal young girl.
She was at the age where all girls rebel against their mothers, at the age to want to be independent, at the age when she is trying to find herself.
She did not wanted to be force into a marriage, she wanted to make her own choice, to be independent, to be herself.
Yes, she was a tomboy, many of us were, so what!
I think Chris Heller saw a different movie than me.
She ends her article with “The film doesn't need to tell us whether Merida is gay. It just needed to make us ask.”
I did not see anything about sexuality, about homosexuality, about romance. It’s a children’s movie for crying out loud!!! I did not see anything that wanted me to ask about her sexuality.
What I saw was a movie that gives young girls a heroine, somebody that they can see making her own choices, somebody that can be a role model.
The movie came out on the same day than the Pride Parade, so what?
Actually, I enjoyed the movie very much.
I just which people would stop to look into things that are not there, but I understand Chris Heller’s reasoning. By writing such outrageous article she got a lot of people to read it and to be familiar with her name which until a few days ago I never heard of.
