Savages

The movie is being told by O. the blond girl in the movie. She speaks through the whole movie in a monotone stone voice. She has not life in her, except when she is fucking the two guys that she lives with and even then she doesn’t do much, even that she might be a great lay otherwise why the two guys would spend the whole movie trying to save her? She is an empty character that does nothing; I don’t even think she has an opinion worth notice.

Anyway, Blake Lively plays the role of an empty blond well.

The Mexicans think these guys are savages, the guys think the Mexicans are savages, to me they are all stupid savages.

Benicio del Toro was really good as was John Travolta as the dirty cop. Salma Hayek was OK but the black wig she was wearing did not look good.

In my opinion the best line of the movie was “don’t mess with Wal-Mart”, besides that I did not care for it.

 I did not feel sympathy or empathy for any of the character. Besides the movie was not quite a drug cartel movie, a romance movie, and action movie. It tried to be all of them or maybe some of them, I don’t know, but did not cut it.

It is OK if you have couple hours to waist, however wait to rent it, don’t waste your money on it.
